new sculpture in progress

This piece depicts Kestrel fledglings just about to leave the nest. I loved the complexity of jamming all three birds together ,wings overlapping and tails pressed upagainst the other. This is how the sculpture looks after it leaves the kiln. I am preparing for a show at the Minerva Gallery near Aylmer in November.
