" Winter Creek"

Oil on masonite panel 6 x 16 inches. This is the creek behind my house early in the spring. Shadows ,light, cool blues and touches of warm paint to balance. You will see that most of these paintings are of scenes that I can get to quickly from my home, this is because I can make the most of my painting time and I also see paintable subjects almost anywhere in the countryside .

Detail from Terra cotta pots in spring

New Oil Painting "Canada Geese"

I researched this painting and was inspired by the geese at the wildlife area at the Police College near Aylmer. I am very excited about painting the Tundra swans next as I spent alot of time watching and taking pictures of thier migration this spring.

This painting is of a place where I walk almost every day.
