The shoreline at Springwater is so rich with colour and the beauty of these fallen trees and stumps. This is one of the several 14 x 7 inch paintings that I have painted from the Kayak this Fall. These small paintings are sometimes used back in the studio as references for painting larger versions but I also like the energy in the small ones that comes from painting outdoors.
