This plein air painting done in my garden depicts flowers that have been passed down in the family and makes them even more treasured. As spring moves into summer each flower has its time which always seems too short so painting them outdoors is a way for me to be with them in the moment and challenge myself to paint them as well. As usual I do a series of the subject before moving on.
